It is instro but not quite surf. It is nostalgic and happy and both Noel and Jeff stuck their big ol collective thumbs up in the air when they heard it. Currently taking a dinner break to refresh the ears. Hope to have this one in "the can" by this evening. Three more tracks to record. Looks like we are actually on schedule to have the recording done by the end of February. Fingers are crossed and at this point we are still speaking to each other. Amazing. Many times I'd be dinking around with an OD I have (which is good in its role), but wishing it was a true fuzz like from when I was a kid, which I'd use more. I never pursued fuzz pedals again even though I was a huge Hendrix fan until I got back into Surf/Instro and started my band. Now I've always got one ear open to fuzz pedals. O.k.
