some fat harpie leaning over my cubicle wall complaining about some crap I don't care about.
Steely dan would be an improvement.

Vara-tones Headin' out - great, great music —original compositions (low-level demo stuff /out of tune, etc) myStuff not my best, but i don't like to be in a musician community without anything to show |

My Record Store Day haul. Feels like the weakest year yet, the UK got all of the good stuff this year. |

St. Vincent - Cruel : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L3-_aurNiic Awesome, great fuzz. And her 4AD session: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5jv4lgFrL7U&hd=1 I heard great things about her second album several years back so I bought it without hearing anything, then I saw her in a promo photo holding a ukulele so I never listened to the record thinking her to be some awful "ukulele is so cool" hipster band. I bought a single of hers at Record Store Day on Saturday and it was fuzzed out to all hell, went back and listened to her stuff, really great. Album stuff is a bit cleaner than her live stuff, but just good song writing all around. |

I'm a huge Steely Dan fan but I haven't met many who share my enthusiasm, hah. Today's drive-time music was a borrowed copy of Smashing Pumpkins' seminal "Melon Collie And The Infinite Sadness." Really good 90s record, if you're into that sort of thing...currently checking out Clint's podcast and loving what I'm hearing! —-Cam Last edited: Apr 23, 2012 23:05:42 |

OM - Good is Good OM is Al Cisneros from Sleep and Emil Amos of Grails playing some rhythmic drony crazy stuff. Drums and bass, with some atmospheric sounds. Most excellent. Last edited: Apr 27, 2012 14:39:39 |
