Oh, my God, calm down UNSTEADY FREDDIE
Still vibrating from last night's ROCKS OFF CRUISE which starred LOS
STRAITJACKETS
What an unbelieveable experience ! Almost impossible to fully and accurately
describe the entire evening but I will give a few words of what I recollect
I must start by saying that LOS STRAITJACKETS are one of the most incredibly
tight band of rockin' musicians - play styles that cover good ol' rock n roll,
rockabilly, surf, R&B -- and with class, intensity, and, yeah, seriousness; ya
see, if they weren't so damn amazing, they could never pull off the LUCHA LIBRE
Mexican wrestling masks "gimmick" -- it just works b/c they are so damn cool
When I first got on the boat, I thought to myself, "yeah I know they know me,
but do they remember me lovingly?" HAHA
Turns out, PETE CURRY ("Pedro") yelled out as I embarked, "uh oh, it's UNSTEADY
FREDDIE" - and from there, it just never stopped.....
DANNY AMIS asked me to "introduce" LOS STRAITJACKETS - which I did for the first
and second sets; also advised the audience "in English" that the band would take
a 15-minute break, and whipped the masses into a frenzy for 2 powerful encores
I told DANNY AMIS after the show that I had so much fun that I didn't even have
to have sex that night! That's probably why he was willing to hug me! He felt
safe!

Can't wait for the XMas Tour (usually with the PONTANI SISTERS)
Bottom line: if you can catch these guys, do it! make the effort - I am
awestruck, still high as a kite with any substances in my body - just pure twang
and bliss
LOS STRAITJACKETS have reinforced what surf-rock music means to me - a
fun-filled, exotic pureness like no other music - I think of it as the
"classical music" within the "rock music" genre
Hung out with STEWD DUDE from THE SURFALICIOUS DUDES - what a great guy!
I'm outta here !
We LITERALLY CAUGHT A WAVE! Several of them! The band playing, with the NYC
skyline in the background, the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, the Bridges,
etc. -- just one unreal almost surreal moment for UNSTEADY FREDDIE
UNSTEADY FREDDIE has left the airwaves......
