So this week and next week are the station fundraiser shows and though I doubt many of you are benefited by local radio, I'd appreciate if you chipped in to support the rare beast of surf rock radio. THANKFULLY I'VE MADE THAT A LITTLE LESS PAINFUL with the help of some very generous few. So here's how marathon premiums are going to shake down today. YOU MUST CALL IN TO THE SHOW (4pm to 6pm CST) to receive these. $30 you can get (in addition to all the WTUL niceties) these CDs (limited amounts of each, so first come first serve) From DOUBLE CROWN RECORDS From DEEP EDDY RECORDS Also from CRUNCHY FROG RECORDS For $50 Same as WTUL pledge level but replace the station shirt with Storm Surge of Reverb shirt (attached). Also choice of surf CD HUGE THANKS to Deep Eddy and Double Crown for supporting Storm Surge of Reverb and WTUL. They are unquestionably the best labels/distros for surf in North America and it's great to be able to give back to dedicated listeners The shirt isn't in yet so here's an artist's rendering Storm Surge of Reverb: Surf & Instro Radio Last edited: Mar 12, 2012 13:53:29 |

On in 20 minutes! One more pledge week plus I've got the Unnaturals in to talk about their new album! I know the localness of this doesn't affect most of y'all but the surfness of it does. Please consider making a small (or large!) donation. It's not even a bad deal! $30 you can get (in addition to all the WTUL niceties) these CDs (limited amounts of each, so first come first serve) From DOUBLE CROWN RECORDS From DEEP EDDY RECORDS also For $50 Same as WTUL pledge level but replace the station shirt with Storm Surge of Reverb shirt (see below).
