...........greetings group, I play through a RI 65 Twin Reverb, and
wanted to know what is the proper way to turn her off. Some say to
hit the stand by, wait a few minutes and then hit the main power
switch, someone else said to just hit the main power switch. I've
tried both ways and every now and again I'll hear a loud "pop" when I
shut her off, can anyone tell me how I can avoid this loud "pop" all
together? It really bugs me and I'm sure it bugs her too.

Always power on and off from Standby....wait 1 - 2 min. when in standby to
power on, but to power off, just put the amp in standby, then shut it off, no
need to wait.
