Thank You and Congratulations to Brian and SG101

jacobdobner - 27 Jan 2005 20:49:46

SG101 has just topped 700 posts for the month. That shatter the
previous record of 485 set in July 2004. And everything has been great
discussion about surf music. I would just like to thank Brian for
creating this great community. It could get up to 800 this month. And
lets try to maintain it at this level.

Well thanks everyone, I appreciate it. But, to be honest, I haven't done
any "moderating" at all in the sense of rejecting/deleting messages,
kicking people out, warning people, etc. That's not my style anyway. I
only turned on the "moderation" features recently to stop the spammers
and I think that worked (so far... knock on wood). I think it's all you
guys here that help make this a cool place, not me. I just started the
list because I wanted to learn, and my expectations for the list have
been far exceeded many times over. THANK YOU.

Brian,
Because of the reasons you've described above SurfGuitar101 is
probably the best "forum" on the internet today.
