The Thurston Lava Tube, the psychedelic, experimental surf instrumental
band from Leicester, England are pleased to announce the release of our
second album. This is called "Move over Rover, let Clover take over". It
has a dog on the front. To see the dog and other details check out our
web site: I haven't got round
to putting up any music from it yet but I can email a (2Mb) mp3 to
anyone who wants to hear a track.

Hi Bill!
I checked online at a thousand different places. most seem to copy
each other's stuff, all of them are wrong, and dont have the entire
song. I figured this out for you since I couldn't find it anywhere.
It's not as simple as it sounds. First, they don't necessarily follow
the scales. Second, they change the key after each chorus. each
chorus is different, although similar. I kept having to slow it down
till I got it. The little keyboard and flute or whatever in the
background is playing chords and notes that also give a false
impression of what's going on with the guitar, too. Ugh! Anyway,
here is what I got. If anyone notices errors and wants to make
corrections, that would be cool, but I think this is pretty darn
close.
"Hawaii Five O" as played by the Ventures:

The two 9's next to each other might be just an error on his part,
as the 2nd one isnt very loud.)

Okay, missed the Surf Coasters et. al., a real bummer, but I'm
passing thru SoCal at the end of the month and visiting family in
Orange County and San Diego for a week or so. What is the best
resource to find out about any surf bands playing? If anyone can
help me, I'd sincerely appreciate it.
