Alright one more post won't hurt. Zak's new band the Alley Dukes is
one of the better sounding traditional rockabilly bands out there, I
don't know if Zak would appreciate me calling it that but this guy
knows more about vintage guitars and amps then anyone else I've
talked with and it sure shows in his tone.
The Alley Dukes do some songs that hint at some pretty nasty stuff,
but it's the work of a geniuses as far as I'm concerned.
As a side, Zak's been really helpful for our band as far as
answering my annoying gear and band questions.
If any of you guys in bands have time you outta hook up with
myspace.com. It's pretty good as far as networking and getting your
band name out there, and you make individual "fans" who could be
potential album buyers.
