So here's goes a long shot...
Anyone out there ever hear of or know of a Nobles gig out in San
Diego County during the 60s? The location of "the graffitti" I
mentioned in an earlier post is on State Hwy 79, heading east towards
the Pala Indian Reservation (and Casino) and Palomar
Mountain...wasn't there a Palomar Mountain Resort out that way during
the 1950s-1960s?
Last year, the grafitti was plain as day...unfortunately, recently
some "do-gooder" painted over the black letterring with sand-colored
paint...the outline of the original grafitti is still visible
though...
I have had thoughts of a clandestine night-time "restoration" of this
site...but, before I do something so daring...I will probably do a
recon/ photography mission to at least document what the site looks
like right now...
If I get some cool photos, I'll post them.
Again, I know this is a long shot, baut maybe someone who knows
something is out there reading our posts...
