Hey we love our surf-rock, fuzz and twang music, right?
And it conjures up beautiful images of the surf, the ocean for most of us - a
calm, if you will
Some of us are avid surfers too
But I thought we should all reflect on the Asian quake/aftershocks/and/tsunamis
tragedy that has hit the region with such devastation - taking so many lives and
destroying so much property throughout Asia, India, Africa and the surrounding
area
Sometimes the waters can be most cruel, undiscriminating and unforgiving
Prayers, both individual and collective, are surely needed at this time

Thanks for acknowledging this. It is very tragic. I have a friend in Phuket
who was on a surfing vacation. I have no idea if she is ok. I am very
worried.
