...PORN!!
About a half hour ago, I was just trolling for vulgarity on late night cable
television, as I often do, and happened across the HBO series "Pornucopia," a
6-part documentary on the adult film industry in California. In this episode -
mostly about girl on girl porn (but finishing off with other thngs I really
didn't need to see) - they played 3 or 4 minutes of "Wrong Planet" by LS during
interviews with female porn stars (including Jenna Jamison), interspersed with
clips from Beachbunnies with Big Brown Eyes #3 and other favorites (the song was
turned up during the action & then lowered during the brief interview portions).
Anyhoo, they must have looped the song because it went on for at least 3 or 4
minutes & the song itself is only 1:45.
If anyone catches the band on their Christmas pageant tour, make sure to ask
the composer (Danny) if he got any compensation or credit for their use of the
song. I sat through some pretty sick stuff toward the end - including
previews of the next episode (she males & trannies), but alas, there was no
reference to the song or the artist in the closing credits.
