Chris,
I went to your site and dwnld the "Evil Twin." It was very nice.
Very straightforward but effective. I listened to "Morning of the
Taco" and that is pretty danceable too. You said that you don't know
how to play a guitar. Was that you on the guitar? If so, good job.
You can play! :) CLC

Thanx. :) I'd just found the soundtrack album for the old Batman TV
series and got inspired. I wanted to try something with that same
running, churning bass & beat.

Thanx again, but I really can't take total credit for the stuff with
Technoise in the title (like Morning of the taco) as those were made
out of pre-built loop samples.
The Aquabears surf tunes (like Evil Twin) don't feature a real guitar.
I used a sampled string pluck and a sequencer keyboard to generate a
near-guitar sound. Cool Edit Pro was used to tweak the "guitar" tracks
to add reverb, distortion and other effects.
I haven't actually bought a guitar yet. That's going to happen
tomorrow, hopefully.
Glad you liked them, tho. I'm hoping to improve my sound once I'm using
the real thing, but it's good to know I'm on the right track.
Cheers!
