Does anyone know anything about this band? From their
website (thetremolobeergut.dk) I see they're from
Denmark. The only song I've heard from them is
"Clayton's Hotrod" and that was on Netscape Radio's
surf station (which now seems to be defunct), but that
song smoked. Plus they have a super cool name. Anybody
know any more, or where I can get their stuff on this
side of the pond?
Ric

Tremolo Beer Gut is a killer band. I've got "Under the Influence of",
"The Inebriated Sounds of", and "From the Vinyl Archives", which I
think are all of their cds (?). A lot of their tunes have that
spaghetti western sound, with a sad feel to them. I'm not sure who is
selling them here in the U.S. now. You might want to check with
Zptduda or do a Google search.

Of all the voices in my head, that one with the lisp troubles me the
most.
Life is short. Play for the music. Wear your heart on your sleeve.

Our resident surf band's guitarist, when I started
asking him what newer bands he listened to, mainly
cited Tremelo Beer Gut as the band that kept him
playing surf. I still haven't tried them out yet. I
keep buying different types of albums, so I'm never
digging as deeply into all the surf that gets
recommended on this list as I'd like. I don't think
I'll ever be able to catch up with you guys.
