Walking around BARCELONA for my last day of tourism -- beautiful spectacular
city
Last night´s music was OUTRAGEOUS
I did not get to see THE GARFORIC EXPLOSION or WAU & LOS ARGSS from SPAIN
Train ïssues¨back to CALELLA
but the BITCH BOYS from SLOVENIA totally knocked me away - oh my God can these
guys twang and surf, instro mania baby -- plenty of originals and covers, I
have the SET LIST from the stage and will post it at some point; needless to
say ROBI and the Lads were smokin´ at LA FABRICA LLOBET
Sweden´s SONIC SURF CITY followed with a primarily VOCAL set -- closer-encore
was SURFIN USA and SURFIN BIRD (the former id´d as ¨the greatest surf song of
all time¨....well, maybe....?)
then the climas -- THE NEANDERTHALS starring LOS STRAITJACKETS´EDDIE ANGEL -- I
was at the foot of the stage, but being ´52 going on puberty´I didnt mind
joining the younger crowd there--not too scary but THE BAND SMOKED with their
own brand or rockibilly and stompin music---EDDIE brought his STRAIT-JAX guitar
complete with EDDIE O guitar strap---OH MY GOD, I AM EXHAUSTED (IN A GOOD WAY)
