Exactly what is the difference between a Jaguar, Jazzmaster, and Strat sound? I
was
checking out Reverend guitars and the Rocco is a humbucker that is supposed to
sound
like a Strat. I know Pollo Del Mar uses a Reverend, but which model? Anyone know
whick
model Ron Ashton from the Stooges uses? I'd like a Reverend that most resembles
a Jaguar
or Jazzmaster sound.
I'd appreciate any advice.

I use the Spy model with 3 Kent Armstrong Lipstick tube PUs.

They have one that has 2 Les Paul Jr. style single coils, that might
be close. Since all Reverends are handmade, they could probably build
one for you to your specs.

And hey, why not check out the new PDM CD "The Golden State" to hear
what a Spy being tortured sounds like.

I think the Rocco is the one with the 2 LP Jr. style single coils. I like the
fact that Reverends
are so light weight - no more backaches. Danelectro and Reverend seem to be the
only
light weight guitars. I've got a Wilson Bros. VM75 and it seems heavier than
most other
guitars.
