We haven't been spammed as bad as some other lists, but after having
a duel with a king sized loser who keeps spamming the guestbook,
I've had it. I'm trying another experiment. I've turned on
moderation for new members only. This means that new members will
have to get moderator approval before their messages get released to
the list. Once they have proven themselves with at least one on-
topic message, they get granted full unmoderated status. All of you
existing members are free to post at will of course.
All of this is the theory anyway, as I've never tried this before.
So let me know (off-list: ) if things don't
seem to be working right for you.
And I thank you all for some really great discussions lately and
keeping the flamewars to non-existent levels. You guys rawk.
