There are alot of really good surf guitars out there other than Jazzmaster. I
have a jazzmaster and it along with a gretsch6120 (surprise) are my favorites
however I get great surf tone from my Yamaha SGV 8000 , Depinto Belvedere
with a bigsby. I'll play these before a Strat.. . . . . . . . . . . .
