Many of you have given me great information to go on regarding a guitar
for my daughter.
A couple of people have brought up acoustic, which I thought would be a
good way to start. I figure at this point, I don't have to worry about
an amp or anything.
Someone even brought up classical guitar training. At this point, that
may be a consideration. The kids have "Class Act" at their school, which
is a program that provides exposure to the symphony, hosted by the
Pacific Symphony Orchestra. This is where the kids have gotten some of
their ideas about instruments they'd like to try. Classical guitar may
fit in great, considering the exposure. Then again, they have a mother
who always played by ear.
Your continuing disscussion gives me many things to think of that I
didn't in the first place. I considered the length of the neck, but not
the other dimensions.
