Their basses truly suck ass. I have messed with one using my Trace Elliot rig.
Even this system couldn't help the lack of good sound. The neck isn't all that
great, either. DOn't ever get one of these in a Bass. I don't know about
guitars, though.

I can't speak for the guitars, as I've never actually seen one up
close (well, the closest I should say was Chris Bess from Southern
Culture on the Skids was playing one one of the last times I saw them
live). The amps on the other hand -
I play through a Reverend Hellhound 40/60 head through an Avatar cab
(with 2 Eminence M12's) and the clean tone on the US setting is
awesome. I use a Peavey Valverb for reverb/tremolo and it easily
nails Twin tones, on the UK setting it gets a little raunchier (I
don't dime out the Gain, since with the outboard reverb it gets a
little too nasty, but with a little echo nails some Cramps-ish type
sounds pretty well.) The 60 watts are plenty loud (we have a pretty
hard hitting drummer, so it's necessary).
Just my $.02.

Poseidon, are you serious? I've heard nothing but
rave reviews about the Reverend bass', and one of the
best parts is supposed to be the neck. What did you
do with the bass you had?
