Amp Differences Question.

cancerleocam - 14 May 2002 14:16:38

Hi All,
What significant diffrences are there between the Vibrolux,
Vibro-King, '65 RI Twin, etc.? If my tremolo pedal issues don't
resolve then I may have to move up to a bigger amp. Thanks. Jimmy

Significant difference is price dude. There's a BIIIIG difference between a
Vibro-King and a Twin Reverb. Stroll through your local Ebay and see if you
can smell what I'm steppin in...

The Vibro-King is a custom shop amp. I played one in a music store and was
totally knocked out. It has a complete outboard reverb unit built into it
(so does the other custom shop amp - the Dual Professional) and has point to
point wiring...pretty expensive. From reading posts on the Fender Forum, I
believe the Vibro-King was designed to break up sooner and doesn't have as
much headroom as say a Twin Reverb. I can't verify that as I didn't crank
the thing.
Try the Fender Amp Field Guide to get basic stats about these amps:
