Coincidentally I've got the same 90's "Super Amp" as Marty, and he's
the only other person I've ever seen with one. Mine's a '96 so I bet
it's one of the last. Other than being a 2-6L6 4x10 with blackface
looks, it's not much like a Super Reverb. Gain channel instead of
tremolo (boo, hiss) plus modern stuff like an effects loop and line
out that come in real handy. The clean channel and reverb are real
nice but it does get dirty and bluesy if you push it--- Fender
claims 60 watts but the amp shop scoped it at 45 watts on the bench.
Definitely my bread-and-butter amp that works for most everything
except loud outdoor clean surf... and then it's Showman time.

I was dating that 90's Super too early. They didn't get issued until '93 and I'm
sure '96 woulda been the last year. Yes, R-Dub, yours and mine are the only ones
I've seen as well which should give us an idear how popular they were.

The '90's Super had reverb but the amp was called simply the "Super Amp". Fender
plays fast and loose with their amp names. They now have the "Custom Vibrolux"
which is not the same as any earlier Vibrolux. But then there have been many
amps under the name Vibrolux.
