Hi,
I spoke to both Sam, Dusty and Dave last Saturday in Italy on the
"Surfer Joe festival" where the they played with the "Bitch Boys" (from
Slovania), "The Speedsurfers" (from Italy) and "Los Venturas" (from
Belgium). (I spend 10 days with the "Los Venturas" on their Italian tour
as a roadie and merchandise guy)
I had a really nice gear chat with Dave about Jaguars and Fender. The
Slacktone gig later that night was amazing. Slactone played a 2 hour
show. The crowd went crazy!!! Those Italian surf fans know how to
party....Amazing versions of "Mr. Moto" (Which all bands played that
day) Walk don't run, cat on a hot foam board, Surf Party, The Bells of
St. Kahuna, tidal wave, etc....
I hope to meet Slactone again tommorow when they play in Kasterlee
(Belgium) with the TFP Surfers en the coastals. So Roland if you are
free tommorow come and join the party at J.H. JeKa. Show starts at
20u00/20u30 kicking it of with the "TFP Surfers" followed by the
"Coastals" and "Slactone".

Oh man, damn it. that's about a 45 minute drive for me, and I really
can't make it. talk about bad planning.
BTW, on the site of the vebnue they're advertized as
"Slacktone (drummer and bassist of Dick Dale)"
the word about Dave Wronski obviously hasn't spread to Kasterlee yet.
