Reverb Tank Value

supertwangreverb - 08 Jul 2004 14:39:02

I'm going reverb tank shopping tomorrow and I got a lead on a '64 in
great shape asking 7-800. Is this fair?

I'd check the completed items section of Ebay, and maybe gbase.com

Yes. When I bought my RI Tank, Guitar Center was selling two originals at
$1100.00 each. Of course GC is always high on the vintage prices so I'm gonna
say that 700 - 800 is probably more reasonable.

We went and got the reverb tank turned out to be a 10 hour day we
got it for $650 and it's in excellent condition although it's not
working and lacking a foot switch...not a steal but I'll be floating
in reverb sooner than later.
