Aria Ventures Model Guitars

Brian Neal (xarxas) - 08 May 2002 21:08:20

Hi all,
Some very good discussions lately...thanks!
Have you seen or heard the Aria Ventures model guitar? Its a very
Mosrite'ish looking thing. The trem system looks slightly different to me
though.
You can see several pictures at the Ventures web site. Some good ones are a
bit more than half way down on this page:
There are also acoustic versions too.
I went to Aria's USA website, and there is no mention of it there. I wonder
if they are for Japan only? I emailed them and asked.

It wouldn't surprise me. They're huge in Japan.
They're more a cult thing here in the states.

I finally got a reply from Aria USA, and this is what they said:
================================================================
Thanks for your interest in Aria guitars. The Ventures' model guitars are
special order items, and can only be ordered if there is enough interest.
Mosrite is similar to the Venture's model #2001-SB.) In other words, we
would
require a minimum order of 6 to 12 guitars. And, it would take
approximately
4 months for them to be made and shipped to the Port of Philadelphia via
freighter. The U.S. list price for each of the models is $2999. This price
is subject to change due to currency fluctuations.
We usually have one or two pieces in stock. At this time we only have model
#BM2001 which was specifically designed for Noki Edwards. The color for
these
two guitars is Candy Apple and Sunburst.
