Is there some super-secret place to get bass tab for surf tunes?
Here is what I've found in the searches I've done including Bass Tab
Archive and OLGA: Shadows and Ventures (plenty of both), 2 Shadowy
Men, 1 MoAM, 1 Los Straitjackets, and that is IT!
Tell me I'm looking in the wrong place and there is a wealth of bass
tabs out there that I haven't stumbled on yet...tell me I don't have
tab everything myself.
One problem is that sometimes it's impossible for me to hear the
bass line. Another is that I have a hard time expressing the rhythm.
I have 10 or more tabs nearly complete but I don't post them because
I don't want to mislead anyone on the rhythm. Any ideas for me on
that?
This is what I am looking for: Space Cossacks, Penetrators,
Torquays, Jon & The Nightriders, Volcanos, Bambi Molesters, Shadowy
Men, MoAM, Nebulas, Hypnotic IV, Surf Coasters...I'd take ANYTHING
from any of these bands! Or anybody else for that matter.
So if you have some half-finished scribblings of some obscure surf
tune tab, send it to me because somethin' is better than nothin'.
Take pity on me...I yearn to learn!!
