Laika / Mosquitos Photos

Suck Face (atomic_mosquitos) - 31 May 2004 12:28:46

I finally put up some photos from our two shows with Laika & the
Cosmonauts this weekend. Don't miss the rest of their shows in NYC
NJ and Connecticut as well as Canada. It's well worth the price of
speechlessness! Not to mention there a great bunch of guys. On a
what a small world note I found out that Matti as an exchange
student went to George's and mine high school here in Fairfax the
same years we did 77, 78. Freaky!

What kind of Strat was Mikko Lankinen playing. Those shorts and
socks have to go!

It was a Squire Strat played through a home-made 30 watt 1-12
amp that was voiced like a Vox AC30. And it sounded incredible!!
Made me think, maybe we make too much out of all this fancy
gear and stuff??
I suspect it had upgraded p'ups though I forgot to ask.
