I had a blast at the concert last Sunday, May 2, 2004 at the
Huntington Beach Pier. Saw The Detonators, The Deoras and The Surf
Kings, unfortunately had to split before The Torquays came on (my UK
heritage doesn't let me handle long periods in the sun). It was
nice to meet and talk with Rob from the Detonators. REM done surf
style, I love it! It was a cool time. Some pics are in the Photos
section under "May 2 2004".
Thanks to everyone who performed and helped to put on that show.

It's me. We also got Halibut Joe to come out and blow the sax on one
song. Hopefully we're going to be able to get him to play a little more
with us.

Thanks for the kind words, Jimbo, and for posting pictures of last
Sunday's show at Huntington Beach pier. Ditto to everybody for
turning out to catch the bands--- it was great to see so many
familiar faces, meet some new ones and get a chance to chat with a
few folks we've only known via the web up to this point. Just a
great day at the beach, all around. We had a ball.
