Hello, I'm looking for a practice amp and was thinking of getting an old fender
champ. but I'm not sure if it has reverb. Anyone know a good practice amp with
reverb? Thanks Jason
Some had reverb and some didnt.
I seem to recall when i was younger i played with a Fender Super
Champ at times. it was rather cool. small, but loud enough for
jamming i think. tubes. treb/mid/bass/volume. i think it had a
second channel but im not sure, i didnt use the footswitch, and it
was a long time ago, about 1983 or 84. it had reverb on it. not sure
if it had the vibrato speed and intensity knobs on it or not, but it
may have. i think it was 30 watts probably.

The earlier tube Fender Champ (until about 1968)does not
have reverb...but, the 80's and 90's solid state Fender
Champ did come with reverb. I am not sure what they are
doing with the Champ right now.
Anyway, there are a ton of practice size amps out there
with reverb, I have a Peavey Backstage that makes some cool
practice tone.
good luck,
DP

umm, hope i dont annoy anyone, but i recall the
superchamp i used to play was a tube amp, with reverb.
i think it was around 1980-83 maybe? i forget the
year of the amp. it was when CBS still owned company I
think, it had a silver face on it.
maybe it was kind of rare, i dont know. it was a while
ago, my memory isnt so great about it.
Actually, trying to remember, i wasnt sure it was
called a superchamp at first, but then I thought about
it and I think it was. it was around 30 watts. I
could jam with my band with it for practices.
