Anybody tried one of these Electro-Harmonix "Holy Grail" reverb units
()? The demos sound promising.
Best regards, Dana Vincent
Holy Grail
Divine reverb for mere mortals! Down from the heavens comes the Holy
Grail, a digital reverb compact guitar pedal priced so low thou shalt not
covet thy neighbor's reverb tank any longer. The Holy Grail will make you a
believer with its emulation of classic Spring reverb so faithful that even
Dick Dale couldn't tell the difference. Next, get lost in the lush
spaciousness of the Hall reverb and ask yourself, "How did they fit Notre
Dáme into such a small package?" Finally, reach enlightenment with the
haunting Flerb.
Listen to mp3s of the Holy Grail at the new demo site
price: $136.00

Hello,
It does sound promising. And the price seams not that high
.It seams we
Europeans can get a nice substitute for the
Very expensive Spring reverb
.
Although I would prefer a real spring reverb, I will surely test the
Holy Grail once it hit the European mainland.
Thanks for the info Dana,
Jerry S. from Belgium

I've heard some sound bytes of the Holy Grail and to me it sounded like
most digital reverb pedals - no warmth and kind of cheesey. Not very
surf-friendly, IMO.
