Hi Everyone, a new member here. What a cool little group with so
many surf players. I was so suprised while looking through the
photos to see a poster with the Vibrants listed on it. I used to sit
in with them way back when they were playing at the Cinamon Cinder
in Long Beach, Ca. Believe it or not, along with surf music they
were one of the best blues bands I ever heard. The bass player,
Casey, now playes with a group called the Tractors. We had so many
surfbands around here back in those days, that on any weekend you
could cruse almost any neighborhood and hear a local band warming up
for a hot gig later that night. What sweet memories. I still play
though my style has changed. I still love surf, still have the
equipment I used back then and plan on playing surf once again. This
should be great fun!
