We've (my drummer buddy and I) added a rookie bass
player to our little ensemble and I realized that I'm
not entirely sure what the bass player is doing the
entire time in Misirlou (meaning through the main
riff). I just had him hammer from the open E onto F.
In the Surfcoasters video it looks like that guy is
doing something on D string, and if I remember
correctly that Ron guy (didn't pay too much attention
to him at the time) that played for Dick was on the D
string too. Anybody got a clue?
Richard

...on the D string there is also a higher E to F riff...
(D string second fret and third fret)
