Just got my $499, lake placid blue (lake placid sure wasn't that
color when I was in the Adirondacks!)Musicians friend closeout
Fender jaguar.
It is excellent! Fit and finish are very good. It is crafted in
Japan. It is nearly identical to my 97 CIJ Jag except
- they added a ground wire to the trem unit.
(this is important if you break strings and want to use graph
tech saddles without hum)
- The neck sits about 1/8" higher off the body.
(this increases string tension over the bridge and helps skipping
and buzzing problems)
