Hi,
From what I heard over at the Fender forum, these are CIJ Jaguars and
Jazzmasters, originally made for the Japanese market.
They feature stock CIJ Hardware, so no upgraded pups etc.
They are in Custom colors (two I believe)
But I thing for $500 a CIJ Is a steal, especially if it's new and in a
custom color.
If you don't like the PU's you can always swap them out for AV RI ones.
(But I'm personally getting fond on the MIJ/CIJ PU sound, although I
like the CIJ Jag sound better)

Aren't these deals limited to quantity? I seem to
remember seeing somewhere that once these things run
out that'll be the end of it. I posted on one of
these earlier and was pretty impressed by it. I play
a Mexican Cyclone II, and it sounds great since it
comes loaded with the AV Jaguar pickups, but I've been
itching for one ever since playing one.

It looks like Guitar Trader () is jumping on
