Hey -
I just picked up the new re-release of The Bambi Molester's out-of-print and
hard-to-find "Dumb Loud Hollow Twang". To my surprise, its *not* just a
re-release with bonus tracks, they completely re-recorded it! They actually
play tighter than the first time around, and the new production/recording
sounds FANTASTIC. The new tracks are excellent, and the old ones sound more
open and airy, more lively. I wasn't sure what to think of the added horns
and piano, though (only on a few of the old tracks). I could have done
without those, but its probably because I have the original versions stuck
in my mind. Still, its a must have CD from a really great band, IMHO.
