I had the chance to see Deke Dickerson on Saturday night. He was
playing at a casino in Central City, CO. he played a couple of surf
classics, as well as lots o' rockabilly type tunes. He is awesome!
If you get the chance to see him - do it!
He has a new doubleneck guitar, a Hallmark Sweptwing clone, with
a Bass VI neck, and a guitar neck. The bass VI sounded really
cool, and it was cool seeing him switch between the two mid song.
He was able to play some really low leads on it, and it sounded
super cool! Now I want a bass VI.....
