Surfer's Stomp 2004
With the long winter off and the coming thaw of spring, images of narly
waves, long boards and sun drenched bikini beauty's are on the not to
distant horizon. OK reality check, Lake Michigan is still frozen and
the inevitable March snow is yet to fall, but you can't blame a land
locked surfer from dreaming. So to eliminate that cabin fever,
Chicago's favorite surf enthusiasts, the Cocktail Preachers are layin'
down at the first Surfer's Stomp of 2004. That's right. Were back and
we've got martini's flowing and the reverb tanks cranked. We had
blast last year at putting these on and the response was overwhelming,
so we had to do it some more. This time out, we will be sharing the
bill with south side surfin' cohorts the Heavies, Saturday March 6th at
Phyllis Musical Inn. If you didn't catch our new line-up in 2003 now is
the time. Plus we're elated at the opportunity to debut some new
material. This season warm up is one you don't want to miss.
