Hey Jason, I have a surf book and cd that I got off of EBAY. Email me
and I will
give you the details. It's a great book and entertaining cd
as well.

There's a tablature book called "Surf Guitar" published by
Creative Concepts Publishing/Hal Leonard. It has a lot of first-
wave instrumental surf and some vocal surf, as well as songs
that were seemingly thrown in for no reason at all!
It's a good place to learn a few more tunes and improve your
technique for surf.

I have the book called "Surf Guitar" by Dave Celentano. It has an
accompanying CD and I got it off EBAY
about a year ago. I would sell it and the CD cheaper than list if anyone
is interested. It is still brand new. When i won the auction
the seller sent out 2 copies by mistake and hence the reason for selling
this one. Needless to say, my credit card was also billed
twice!! I got a lot out of this book and it is very entertaining to
listen to the CD and play along. The Hal Leonard link describing it
is attached. AD

Try Magpie Direct Music...use google search to find 'em,
they're in the UK... the Ventures stuff was hard to find on the
website, and they didn't notify me when my card issuer did
not authorise the transaction the first time...real hassle, but
they DID have the stuff...including the book to go with the CD's.
Heck, you might just e-mail the dude I finally got ahold of to
straighten things out...
Good Luck.
