I added a copy of The Jester to the files. We were playing around
with recording ourselves, and this is the result. I think its kinda
cool - let me know what you think. but please... be nice!
Thanks
Chris
Chris,
Finally got around to downloading this...very cool! How did you

Forgot to mention I had to undergo some "transfer the license" hoop jumping
when trying to play the .wma file for the first time. Might want to use mp3
in the future!

I've tried a few times but haven't been able to
download it, or any other files from the groups page.
Strange, I'm sure I've been able to before, but it
keeps saying the link could not be saved. I've tried
to play .wma files on my machine before too, and got
the same license crap, windows is so annoying.

Thanks - We recorded it in Jesse's basement - "the dungeon". WE
miked the amps using shure 57's, and a six piece shure drum mic kit,
ran all of it to a mixer, then straight from the mixer to the
computer. Not too bad for a first try. It's essentially live, and
the hard part is getting all the levels right. Jesse has solved this
problem, we can record each instrument onto a seperate track, then
tweek it. It should be cool!
Gear:
Jesse - Vintage 64(?) Rogers drums
Scott - Fender P-Bass - Acoustic Bass Amp
Maui - American reissue Jazzmaster - Ampeg Reverberocket 212 amp
Me - Strat, Fender reverb tank, Vibrosonic amp.
I also downloaded it to an MP3 file...
