I posted an album cover pic of John Kerry's prep school band,
The Electras.
The album, one of about 500, sold recently on eBay for $2,501. It
includes a few surf tunes (Torquay, Bulldog). Songs listed on the
back cover. Pretty cool.
A CD release is rumored, although one band member admitted
that the album is horrible.
An article in the Washington Post said the band
played mostly instrumental rock, because nobody could sing.
They mainly did it to impress chicks. Sounds familiar. Kerry
is also listed as "Living in Oslo," so he even worked the
foreigner angle to get girls. Bravo!
Expect a reunion tour if Kerry is elected.
