Has anyone used P-90's in surf? I have a HSS (Humbucker-single-single)
config'd Squire Stagemaster (Pseudo Strat). It really has sweet
action and is China's finest for only $125.00. Santa is quite a
bargain hunter. I wonder how it would sound with a "soapbar"
singlecoil.

P-90s sound great. On my Jag/Jazz website (www.jagandjazz.com) the home page
has a .wav with a nice long glissando. Guitar is question is a P90 equipt
hollowbody.

Well, any day now the P-90 will be left at my doorstep by the man in
the brown uniform. Just figure I'd ask anyway. If it sucks, or
doesn't fit, or some other unseen calamity, it can always be sold on
EBay. Got to take a chance sometime in life. The Squire humbucker the
P-90 is replacing is the inspiration for a very cool interactive
paperweight. I love toys that need batteries.
Thanks for the response.
