Bad jack everyone, bad jack! I plugged my TR into a different cab
last night using a different speaker cable and no problems at all. I
have a Switchcraft right angle Fender type jack that has continuity
between both poles. It appears at the back of the jack that there is
adequate separation between the two soldering joints however I still
get a connection. Could it be that the jack was initially faulty or
can these things just decompose under heat from a soldering
iron/gun? Thanks goes out to Dave Wronski, Dick Messick, Brian Neal
and others here for their consideration, e-mails and advice on this
issue. Thanks guys. Dario
