Greetings one and all,
It's been a little while since we've rocked out here in SF, so we
decided it's time to do it again, and since our last show at Club
Milk had so much surf... we decided to switch things up a little and
invite some rockabilly cats into the mix.
So what does this mean? Well -- how about 4 bands for a mere $5 this
Friday? If you're in school, come out and celebrate the end of the
semester, if you're working, kick off the holidays the right way, and
if you're doing nothing, well you have NO excuse not to be there.
Playing that night will be yours truly - The Lava Rats, joined by our
partners in surf crime, The Coppertones. Adding in the rockabilly
flair will be SF's own The Gin Demons (who also do 2 wicked surf
covers), and tentatively another group of rockabilly cats, The Royal
Deuces.
We'll all be kicking out the jams at THE TEMPEST, 431 Natoma St.
(between 5th and 6th) starting at 9 pm, and expect The Rats somewhere
near the end. Cover is usually $5, 21+
At the show we'll have the latest live collection "The Lava Rats:
Live in California" for sale, and hopefully some of our new merch if
it makes it to us on time.
