Russty's question about the body wood got me
thinking...are there any Jaguars or Jazzmasters made
out of ash? I was under the impression that all the
MIA's were alder, and the newer MIJ's are alder. The
older MIJ's, which are the ones you can get for quite
a bit less, are made out of basswood, which is
slightly heavy and a bit soft.
