Wow,,saw Los Straitjackets for the first time last night here in
Austin, Texas...superific show!! Mexican wrestler sparkle masks and
matching DiPinto four pickup silver/ gold guitars....Fender
Silverfaced amps....tight sound and choreographed stage
show...incredible hard drivin' showmanship!!...what a drummer....he
is too cool! Wing-masked Bass player played a low tuned
guitar...sounded like a bass to me....he was positioned behind the
drummer, as drummer as out in stage-front...smart move!!
Dick Dale plays here on saturday.....some sort of weirdo surf blitz
in November around here.......my head is still reverberatin'....Bill

The first handfull aren't very good as there are people in the way,
but if you skip a few pages ahead, they get much better.

Yeah! Well, actually I'm in Howell...about 45 minutes from the Magic
Stick. That was an excellent show. Where are you located at?

Awesome, thanks for sharing. I got to see them for
the first time just last week in Seattle. They were
opening for Dave Alvin, so I only got to see them play
for an hour. I got the impression that most of the
crowd was there to see Alvin, but they definitely
scored with the audience. As I was leaving after
their set ( I had to drive 180 miles home), I saw a
guy buying six of their CDs at the booth.
