Re: [SurfGuitar101] Re: Dick Dale Strat + Voodoo Indian Magic

DP (noetical1) - 09 Oct 2003 12:47:47

Dude:
Elvis came to Dick's Vegas Revue Show at the frontier Hotel
in Vegas in his white jump suite and got voice lessons from
Dick. They sang "King of the Surf Guitar" and "Take it
off" and "House of the Rising Sun", then went out back and
wrestled with the tigers. Then Dick showed Elvis the inner
power of Kenpo and Elvis got his sticker. Then Elvis copied
Dick and stuck his Kenpo sticker on his accoustic guitar.
Then he dissed Dick, and said he learned about Kenpo
first...then Dick called up the Indian spirits and whipped
voodoo Indian magic on Elvis while he was crapping at
Graceland...
That's how the real story goes...at least that's what DD
told me when I emailed him.
