Does anyone have a name for a good guitar tech in
Southern California for a Jazzmaster (I'm in Orange
County, kinda closer to LA than San Diego)? I moved
here about 2 years ago and haven't been able to find
someone I trust. I know there are alot of people out
there with Fender being so close and all, but the last
guy kinda f**ked up my guitar and I need it to be set
back the way it was. I also need a re-fret and a
pickup re-wound (or replaced) badly.

In O.C. I would say Steve Soest is your man...
On top of being a top notch Fender connoisseur, he's got impeccable
surf credentials and owns a few vintage JMs I believe.
