The Howlin Thurstons wish to thank their friends and fans who braved the foul
weather this past Sunday and came out to see us perform at the Glen Cove Fall
Festival & Crafts Fair, proving once again that The Howlin Thurstons and their
fans dont have enough sense to come in out of the rain.
Jeremy Gilchrist, Maria & The Fox, Ron and Kathy Fleischmann all of whom
preformed admirablely despite intolerable circumstances preceded the Thurstons.
You guys have found some new fans with the Thurstons.
A special thanks to Kate Donohue for organizing and keeping the whole event
together. The woman is a saint.
And a special shout out to our good friends, Mike & Sandy from the North East
Surf Music Alliance for traveling some 4 billion miles to check us out. It was
nice to finally meet you guys. All our fans should check the NESMA web site
(the link is below), for information on the Thurstons and other great bands.
The Howlin Thurstons hope to see you all again, this Thursday, September 19 at
the Lakeside Lounge 162 Avenue B, NYC and again the following Thursday,
September 25th at the MEANY FEST 2003 at CBGBs Gallery, 313 Bowery, NYC.
