but it doesn't have a lot of info
The O'haras are absolutly fabulous and way beyond 'surf mariachi', they
blend in jazz, reggea and easy listening just as easy. I only have the
'facile a boire' mini cd, and I can vouch for it, you wont be disapointed. I
saw them live a couple of times. The trumpet player can play very well when
he's drunk, that or he can fake being drunk very well.

Hi Rock verb,
Try to get a hold of "Devils Dessert" as well. I think their debut is
better, more Surf, more power.....
"Facile a Boire" (Easy to drink) is nice as well...but less bite, which
I like about their debut!
Indeed not a very informative site...But live....arrrgggghhhh....such
power...
Beond the Surf...

Thanks for the great link, Jerry! Very cool site - I've got to get
some of their stuff.
Lotta cool stuff going on in Belgium (Belgian ales rule)! I gotta
visit someday - maybe I can sneak into the Nebulas luggage before
their upcoming tour . . .
Thanks again, Jerry!

Hi Dick,
Also check out the following Belgian surf bands;
The Revelaires (surf classics cover band)
Reefrider (Belgain youngsters with a "mariach vbe" as well, their debut
is just released/ will be suporting the Nebulas in Belgium next month)
Los Venturas (nice surf band as well, did some shows with "Slacktone"
here in Belgium)
Speedball Jr. (superfasthighspeedsurf...with a lovely girl bass player
and go-go dancer)
And there are more bands....better ask Dano and TFJ when they come back
from the "Nebulas Euro tour"
Jerry.

Thanks for the tips, Jerry! I do have a Speedball Jr. CD - cool
tunes, and not hard on the eyes, either :) A while back a saw a few
clips from them from their appearance on "Man bijt hond" (a cool
Belgian TV show that has quick peeks of various acts in a peep-show
like setting . . . ), and had to have that CD!
I will definitely check those other bands out - thanks again!
