Sounds great! What will they reissue next? Leo himself?
Hey Dave, I have a question about the Jagstrat that I've heard about.
Are you planning on using that full-time? And I'm curious about the
choice of a humbucker for the bridge p'up?

My guitar will have two Jag p-ups, three knobs, blue sparkle paint. The neck is
being made now by John Carruthers{not at Fender}. He's got my '63 Jag to model
the neck shape. It's a large neck for a Jag. It will have a small Strat h/stock,
also. Three knobs instead of two, in an arc. It's a tight fit as the bridge
crowds the placement area. It will have a switch{dice top} as close to where my
modded Jag switch plates are located.Body is smaller, so it's a little bit
tight.
I don't know how much I will use it untill it's finished. That's the bad thing
about making a guitar, you don't know what you have untill you hit the first
note through an amp!
The humbucker was an idea from a Japanese dealer who sells 80% of all Custom
Shop guitars. The pic is one of two made for the summer NAMM show. Now I'm
making it the way I intended it to be when I told the Master builder about my
idea.
