Twin Reverb MOD

gunkadisc - 14 Aug 2003 03:56:17

I am seriously considering modifying my `65 Twin Reverb. I would like
to change the first channel to control the reverb settings like a
stand alone reverb unit (change vol to dwell, etc.)
I am wondering how different a pre-amp channel is from the circuit
that drives the tank in a stand alone box.
Does this sound like an easy mod or a total rebuild situation?
Anyone? ~M. Deora

That's what I did for my "Slacktone" amp. It's a Super Reverb that I have
changed quite alot. It's a completely different set-up from a pre-amp channel,
as I understand it.

Mike Deora? Holy crap...my band used to cover
Bloodstains...
Sorry, that didn't have anything to do with Twin
Reverbs.
Brian's got himself a regular celeb fest here. Heh.
